Observations - other than Excursions
Ideally timed for before or after a hearty breakfast. We chose to explore on our Northbound journey, had a good breakfast and worked that off with a long walk around the city - setting ourselves up for lunch on our return.
There are some lovely areas in the 1000 year old city, we didn't follow a set route - just did a big loop - heading up to the train station and then wandered along the river back into the city centre.
There is a lot for tourists here - between the gothic cathedral, museums and nice paths for strolling along.
A nice mix of old and new buildings.
The time will fly by.
Eats
Lots of restaurants and bars - though the visit was after breakfast and before lunch - which meant that we didn't try any.
Walk
There are good footpaths around the city.
Trondheim - in one line
Trondheim is a busy city - you can get to visit twice if you are up early on the Voyage South..
